TEAM ASA's mission is to raise funds, meet new people, and have fun for an incredible cause!!

Athletes Serving Athletes is putting together two teams to participate in the Celebration Triathlon and              The Iron Girl in Columbia, Md. We are looking for committed, energetic athletes to help raise funds for ASA             and have fun training and racing in the Celebration and Iron Girl Tri Sprint.

Celebration -June 27, 2010, Iron Girl – August 22, 2010
Centennial Park - Columbia, Maryland                                                                                                                       0.62mi Swim - 17.5mi Bike - 3.4mi Run.... You can do it!

To help you, we have put together a program that includes the following:
• Friday, January 22 6-8 Kick off party at The Gin Mill to meet other team members and TEAM ASA racers for Columbia Celebration (June 27) and Iron Girl (August 22)- will have sample TRI SUITS to select your size
• Basic Training Schedule with Training Tips
• One Year Paid Membership to the Baltimore Area Triathlon Club
     * this allows for group work outs including scheduled group bike rides, swimming, and running
• Uniforms- tri top and bottom, training t shirt
• Fundraising kit- Step by step goals, plans, and ideas on how to raise money
• Fundraising mentors will provide you with the support you need to reach your goal
• Access to various local bars/restaurants to do guest bartending to raise funds
• Discounts to related retailers
• Personalized Fundraising Website – easy to set up. Staff available to assist in setting it up
• And more!

Top 3 fundraisers raising over $2k or more will also receive additional incentives

The initial fundraising goal is $1000k per athlete, $250 reimbursed for entry fee and unis. It will be due as follow:

Your total fundraising commitment needed for a great cause -$750                               Any balance unpaid will be team members’ responsibility.    
You will receive a comprehensive package once your spot is confirmed.
